Meet the Team
All of our doctors are members of the AVMA, CVMA, and FCVMA veterinary organizations. They are also accredited by the USDA to issue health and travel certificates, both domestically and internationally.
Dr. KRISTOFFER KRANZ BAUER
Dr. Bauer joined Community Veterinary Clinic in 2018. He is from Baltimore, Maryland (Go O's!) and went to veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania. He chose to be a veterinarian because he loved Ace Ventura Pet Detective as a kid and always wanted to be a pet detective! Thus he sought a career where he could solve complex medical cases through clinical investigation for pets. He enjoys spending time with his family, watching sports, and trying to fix things around the house.
Dr. PATRICIA WAGNER
Dr. Wagner joined Community Veterinary Clinic in 2022. She is from Stratford, CT and went to veterinary school at the Louisiana State University (Geaux Tigers!). She chose to be a veterinarian since she enjoys getting the opportunity to be an advocate for animals in order to help strengthen the human-animal bond. She also wishes to make a difference in the lives of your pet and your family! She enjoys photography, visiting zoos, going to the beach, and traveling.
Dr. MICHELLE TADDIE
Dr. Taddie joined Community Veterinary Clinic in 2020. She is from Western Pennsylvania and went to veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania. She chose to be a veterinarian since she loves animals and wants to help keep them healthy. She enjoys cooking, reading, and running. Dr. Taddie enjoys visiting national parks and she continues to work at expanding her national park refrigerator magnet collection!
JANICE
Jan joined Community Vet in 1997 (smoke the smoke that is a long time ago). Jan is the hospital manager and she is from Fairfield, CT. She did not intentionally choose to work in the veterinary field, she kind of just fell into it and has never looked back! She enjoys quilting, reading, and being active in her church.
KELLY
​Kelly joined Community Vet in 2015 and is from Connecticut. She is one of our veterinary technicians. She genuinely loves working with animals and wants to make a positive difference in their lives every day. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and her fun-loving dog Boone!
NINA
Nina joined Community Vet in 2019. Nina is one of our veterinary technicians and she is from St. Petersburg, Russia. She has always wanted to work in veterinary medicine because working with animals is a true fortune and blessing. She likes watching mystery TV shows and she loves to read. She is very interested in the history and traditions of France and the United Kingdom.
CARLOS
Carlos joined Community Vet in 2021. Carlos is one of our veterinary technicians and he is from Stamford, CT. His love for animals has been lifelong, and with each passing year he has learned new and better ways to support their well-being. He enjoys going to the beach, attending baseball and basketball games, soccer, traveling, and being outdoors.
ANDREA
Andrea joined Community Vet in 2024. Andrea is one of our customer service representatives and she is from Fairfield, CT. She joined our team because she wanted to support pets in living their healthiest, happiest lives for years to come! She feels that all the pets at Community Vet are family and cares for them as if they are her own (as we all do!). Andrea enjoys watching the Red Sox, dinner on the beach with friends, and walking her dog Ollie (who also loves the beach).
KATY
Katy joined Community Vet in 2024. Katy is one of our customer service representatives and she was born in Illinois, but raised in Westport, CT. After 20 years in the corporate world, Katy was ready for a more fulfilling and heart-centered path. Working with animals has been a refreshing and rewarding change—especially since her husband has put a pause on adding any more pets at home! Katy enjoys walking her two dogs (Finn and Gigi), cooking, and baking!
KATIE
Katie joined Community Vet in 2025. Katie is one of our veterinary technicians and is from Monroe, CT. She attended undergraduate school at the University of Maryland (Go Terps!). She has a genuine passion for animal care and is committed to helping pets feel their best while reducing stress in their veterinary experience. She chose Community Veterinary Clinic because of its compassionate, like-minded team, and the supportive, caring environment they provide. She enjoys outdoor activities, hiking with her dog Jerry, birding, kayaking, skiing, reading, and crafting. She is known as our "cuddliest tech."
